Things really are different when you see them from afar, like an attire displayed at the store that you have been eyeing all this time. It may sometimes seem as if it's really what your heart is yearning for. It may look so nice and shiny. But these are just on the outside. Things maybe different when you are already in the situation. You may find it good or bad. I wanted to become a copywriter. It looked ideal because I love to write. But when I tried it I didn't like it. In fact, I tried to escape the last project. Why did I turn down the copywriting job? Here are the facts:

1) I had to start with a meager pay of P12,000.

2) You won't full creative freedom because your task is just to follow the client specifics. Wait, I thought it's a creavtive job? Turns out that you will really "copy" what they "wrote". You just have to add some flair to the words.

3) Deadlines. Even when you are about to sleep, you have to think about the ad (according to the client's request). It's not independent creative thinking. It's craft thinking.

4) You won't really have the artistic freedom because they will just edit edit edit. Shits.
